iCAT has accreditation for all approvals of vehicles and their components under the Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) – Rule No. 126 as well as permission from the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) for tests on wheels, tires and glass for BIS certification. In addition, iCAT also has the authorization of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) for testing and approval of generators, as well as various accreditations from NABL (according to ISO 17025:2005), the English VCA, the CAFE Sector Secretariat of the Ministry of Roads and Transport. Furthermore, the test institute, established in 2006, has all the conditions for testing motors, LEDs, UPS, IT products, AV products, household appliances, etc.
