What is the Procedure of NOC Pollution Control Board

(1) The applicant will submit a complete form, required documents, and fee to obtain the CTE. The application is forwarded to the approving authority, and a final decision is usually taken within 30 days.

(2) The Section officer/ Supervising officer in the SPCB will scrutinise the application and make recommendations. An inspecting officer may visit the site and make recommendations.

(3) Based on the recommendation, CTE will be granted. For all Projects, CTE can be issued for a maximum of five years (depending on the SPCB) and has to be renewed.
