Plastic Waste Processor Authorization is required for the Plastic Waste Processor business, which involves converting Plastic Waste for energy into oil and industrial composting.Plastic, according to Plastic Waste (Management) Rules, 2016, is defined as "a material which contains essential ingredient a high polymer such as polyethene terephthalate, high-density polyethene, Vinyl, low-density polyethene, polypropylene, polystyrene resins, materials like acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, polyphenylene oxide, polycarbonate, and Polybutylene terephthalate.

(1) Fill the requisite form that forms I, II or III as per the type and formation of business.
(2) Annex/Upload all the necessary documents, such as the establishment registration certificate, PAN card, and proof of address. In addition to these documents, plastic industries need to submit a certificate of registration from the Plastic Waste Management Institute (PWMI) and a copy of the plastic waste management rules issued by the CPCB.
(3) All the documents should be signed by an authorized person of the organisation.
(4) Submit the form to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) for processing/approving the application.
(5) Once the application is approved, the company will receive an EPR registration number, which will be used for all future transactions with the CPCB.
