MCD is general Trade/Storage License to the traders/ establishments for permitted trade activities under Section 2 (59) of the DMC Act, 1957.The MCD trade license is an instrument that helps a regulating authority in ensuring that the mode and locality in which the business is being operated is in accordance with the relevant rules, regulations, standards and safety guidelines prescribed by the government of the respective state
(1) MCD Factory License will also shield the Delhi Municipal Corporation (DMC) Act from penalty provision. Section 416 and 417 of DMC the Act provide penalty provision for non-registration.
(2) Night shifts are permitted only to units having MCD factory licenses. Factory or trade must be located in an industrial area, and permission from the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Delhi is required.
(3) Factory or trade cannot initiate operation in Delhi until having prior permission of the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) under the DMC Act[1].
(1) PAN card of the establishment in case of company, LLP or Firm Registration in Delhi .
(2) Canceled Cheque and bank statement of the establishment.
(3) Certificate of Incorporation, MOA, and AOA of the company or LLP/ Partnership Agreement.
(4) Premises Proof of the establishment in the form of Sale Deed, Electricity Bill/water bill and NOC from an owner.
(5) Colour Photograph, Pan card and ID Proof and Address Proof of all Directors/ Partners.
(6) Front-Face Photograph of the establishment with Display of goods traded from the premises.
